Starting a project is always difficult. It starts out seeming unmanageable and daunting, but as we take those first tentative steps things starts making sense, we start to feel comfortable, we begin to think creative thoughts and before you know it, it is an enjoyable task that we look forward to facing. This is true in so many aspects of my life. Everything from organizing a cupboard of spice bottles (which are far better stored in a drawer, all lined up alphabetically) to expanding the size of my heart to accommodate each of my five children. Making a commitment to a diary is certainly something along these lines. Where do I start? How long is this going to take? What will it look like when I'm done? Like anything I tackle, it will evolve a little by chance and a lot by the characters that affect my life and the tides of life that we cast our vessels upon.
Already is sounds more exciting! 1 paragraph in and I am enticed to move on! Tales from the home and beyond await, hopefully soon to be explored and mulled and shared. How compelling can stories from a Stay at Home Mom be? It all starts from the home baby. Every world story, every person of notoriety, every human achievement began....in someone's home.
Cheers to all the wonderful starts.
